Michael Anderson Helps UNITE HERE Local Win Contract in Providence

Murphy Anderson attorney Michael T. Anderson represented UNITE HERE Local 217 in Providence in its successful struggle to win a contract at the Westin Providence Hotel, ratified February 15. The key was the NLRB General Counsel's unfair-labor-practice complaint against the Westin, after it unilaterally implemented sweeping wage cuts and subcontracts. The contract is an important victory in the fight for decent working standards and protection from subcontracting.
