Nicolas Mendoza
Senior Associate
Nicolas Mendoza is the senior associate in our Washington office.
Nicolas primarily represents whistleblowers in False Claims Act cases, as well as under the SEC and IRS programs and state whistleblower laws. As a False Claims Act attorney, Nicolas has represented whistleblowers alleging fraud on the government in various areas, including healthcare, defense, small business contracting, and Covid relief programs.
Nicolas also represents workers in wage theft, overtime, and prevailing wage collective actions in federal and state courts in D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
Nicolas graduated from Harvard Law School. During law school, Nicolas interned at the Department of Justice Civil Frauds Section, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Suffolk County Superior Court. Prior to law school, Nicolas was a paralegal and case investigator at a False Claims Act whistleblower firm.
Nicolas grew up in Santiago, Chile and speaks Spanish fluently.
